Privacy policy

We, Exelliq Holding GmbH and its subsidiaries, Friedrich-Schiedel-Strasse 1, A-4542 Nußbach, operate this website as an information platform and as a means for you to get in touch with us regarding various topics such as information regarding our products and services, job applications, or of a general nature. We are pleased to have you visit us.

We wish to structure our services in an efficient and user-friendly manner for you and to continuously improve them. At the same time we want you, as the user, to be fully informed and to feel secure.

That is why we are committed to respect your privacy, personal rights and data protection rights, to treat your data confidentially and to not collect or analyse any of your data in covertly.

This privacy policy is currently valid and dated May 2018. Improvements to this policy shall be published here and are valid as of the date of publication.

Measures we take

  • Compliance with this privacy policy is continuously monitored.
  • We provide for the necessary transparency in data processing.
  • We secure your visit to our website in accordance with the current state of the art.
  • We collect, process and use your data only if there are legal requirements, if a legitimate interest exists or if you have given your consent.
  • We do not disclose your personal data to third parties outside of the Group unless we are required to do so by law or you have granted us your prior consent.
  • Our websites do not create personal user profiles.

Declaration on information obligation

Upon visiting our website, we store your personal data depending on the use of our services. On the one hand you automatically transmit certain data to us so that we, for example, can get a picture of the number of visitors; on the other hand, you may intentionally provide us with data in order to get in touch with us.

We use your personal data only in compliance with national and European data protection regulations and only within the scope and for the purpose for which you have provided us the data, and for no other purpose.

Data erasure
Any personal data we have stored is erased when the user of the website withdraws his or her consent to storage, when knowledge thereof is no longer necessary for performing the purpose pursued by storing said data or when storage is not permitted on other statutory grounds. Data for purposes of settling accounts and bookkeeping purposes are not affected by a user’s request to have data deleted.

IP addresses and server logs

Your IP address is transmitted together with other data to the web server every time you visit our website. That is necessary for technical reasons in order to transmit the answer of the server to you. You will receive this IP address from your Internet service provider as soon as you connect to the Internet. Afterwards, for a certain period of time, your provider can trace which IP address you used at a specific date. At least in theory, your identity can be determined via an inquiry of the provider.

A record is made of the server logs (data such as date, time of the request, name and URL of the requested file, volume of transferred data, notification of whether the request was successful, identification data of the browser used and of the operating system, as well as in the event of access via a link, the website from which access occurred) in order to test the system security, to thwart and trace hacker attacks, for technical system administration and for website optimisation. The IP address is anonymised. The server logs are only inspected if required or in case of suspicion. Data is only disclosed to law enforcement authorities in the event of a hacker attack. There will be no further disclosure to third parties. Data is not permanently stored and is erased after a period of 6 months.

Information regarding cookies

In order for you to be able to use our website without restriction, we use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small files that enable the user to be recognised and your use of our website to be analysed. A randomly generated unique identification number is stored in these files. Additionally, a cookie contains information about its origin and the storage period. Cookies cannot access, read, or change any other data on your computer.

The cookies set by us do not pose any danger to the user's computer system, as they do not cause any damage and do not contain any viruses or the like. Most of the cookies on this website are automatically deleted (session cookies). We also use persistent cookies in order to recognise you when you return to the website. You can delete these persistent cookies from your browser at any time.

You can prevent cookies from being placed by making appropriate changes to your browser settings. As soon as your browser supports “Do Not Track” technology and you have activated it, no user profile is created for your visit. Please note that by blocking or deleting cookies, your online experience can be impaired and you may not be able to use this website to its full extent.

Analytics and statistics

Google Analytics terms of use

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service offered by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer which enable your use of the website to be analysed (see Cookies).

The information generated by the cookie on your use of this website (including your IP address) is, as a rule, transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there.

On the basis of the IP anonymisation we activated on this website, your IP address is truncated by Google prior to being transmitted (so-called IP masking, “anonymizeIp” function). Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports for us on website activities and to provide additional services associated with the use of the website and the Internet. Google may transfer this information to third parties if required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by changing your browser settings or, in addition, prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being transmitted to Google and then processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Further information on the terms of service and privacy policy can be found here and here.

YouTube videos

YouTube videos are included on our website that are stored at “www.youtube.com” and can be played directly from our website. For this, we use the option “extended privacy mode” provided by YouTube so that none of your personal data as a user can be transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only if you play the videos are YouTube cookies saved to your computer and is data transferred to the YouTube operator Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). As soon as you play the stored videos on YouTube, at the very least the following data will be transmitted to Google: IP address and cookie ID, the specific address of our page that was accessed, language setting of the browser, system date and time of access, and identification of your browser. Data transmission occurs regardless of whether you are logged in with a YouTube user account or if you do not have a user account. If you are logged in, this data is allocated directly to your account. You can prevent this allocation if you log out before activating the start button. Google stores this data as user profiles and uses it for advertising, market research and/or the design of its website as needed. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. This objection must be lodged with Google as the operator of YouTube. Google has made more information regarding YouTube’s privacy policy available at www.google.at/intl/de/policies/privacy/ . By playing the YouTube videos you agree to the data processing performed by Google. Exelliq Holding GmbH does not process the data concerned.

Google Maps

Our site uses the “Google Maps” component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

Every single time the “Google Maps” component is called up, Google places a cookie in order to process user settings and user information when displaying the page on which the “Google Maps” component is integrated. Usually, this cookie is not deleted when you close the browser but expires after a certain amount of time, unless you delete it manually beforehand.

If you do not consent to your data being processed, you have the option of deactivating the service provided by “Google Maps” and so of preventing the transmission of data to Google. To do so, you must deactivate the JavaScript function in your browser. However, please note that this might partially or fully restrict your ability to use the “Google Maps” component.

You can learn more about the scope and the purpose of this data collection, the further processing and use of the data by “Google” and the use of “Google Maps” and of the information collected through “Google Maps” in Google’s privacy policy and its terms of service, which you can view at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html and www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

Social media

You can share content from our website on social media sites. When sharing content by clicking the button, no codes are downloaded from the social media sites.

We take the current discussion about data protection in social media very seriously, as we ourselves have social media accounts in order to inform the users active there about our range of services. Which specific social media we use for this purpose is represented by logos on our website. In this regard, we would like to point out that, on the basis of current case law, we have a joint controllership within the meaning of Art 26 GDPR with the respective operator of the social media site. We have taken the necessary precautions for this as far as the provider has made this possible for us. The primary responsibility according to GDPR for processing personal data for the respective social media lies with each provider of the social media site. In the case a data subject asserts his or her rights, we state that this is best done with the social media sits themselves. We as operators do not make any decisions regarding data processing on social media sites. Only the respective provider has access to the data of the users, making only such provider able to directly act.

User data can be processed on social media sites for advertising and market research purposes. User profiles can be created from various interests of the users, among other things. The user profiles can then be used, for example, to place targeted advertisements within and outside the social media. For these purposes, cookies are also used by the social media site in which user behaviour and user interests are stored. Furthermore, these user profiles may also contain data on the users as members of the respective social media, provided that they are logged in.

For a detailed description of the respective processing operations and the possibilities for objection or revocation, please refer to the privacy policy of each social media site.
