Twin screw extruders

Greiner Extrusion offers twin screw extruders for any field of application. We know all the requirements which your product might demand from this essential component of complex extrusion.

The use of the appropriate twin screw extruder in your performance area of extrusion only partly depends on output range and individual application. Perfectly aligned many process parameters lead to the desired optimized result. In this process the deep material understanding of the experts from Greiner Extrusion is essential because by now it is much more than just PVC which the team of Greiner Extrusion on a daily basis optimizes the production of their profiles with.

Single screw extruders

Complex process experience.

Single screw extruders from Greiner Extrusion – same as those from the most experienced suppliers in the industry – are used for smaller output ranges. The variety of processing materials is almost limitless. Do not miss to increase your success by relying on our complex process experience.

The extruder technology is an essential part during the extrusion process in order to achieve best profile quality. The single screw extruders of Greiner Extrusion Group are used worldwide as main or co-extruders and precisely set fulfil the defined customer requirements.

PCE extruders

Perfect adhesion of your gaskets.

The application of PCE gaskets (soft, PVC, TPE or other extrudable elastomers) onto or into a profile is a technique the experts from Greiner Extrusion are very familiar with. Co-extruders made by Greiner meet any requirements of PCE extruders.

You can choose between 2 types:

  • GCE type F: is directly mounted onto the calibration table and offers an ideal space-saving possibility to produce gaskets
  • GCE type T: mounted on a chassis

Both types are controlled by a control terminal with touch screen. Malfunctions and alarm messages are displayed textually. In addition the control offers a general overview of the current production status and a target-actual comparison of the last 40 production minutes. Tooling-specific settings can be saved to shorten a later start-up of the tool.

Heating current monitoring on all heating zones for an early detection of breakdown. Advantage: fewer rejects.

The standard equipment includes 2 cylinder cooling zones.

Co-extruders

Flexible and individual - Production of gaskets.

For the production of into- or onto-extruded gaskets made of soft PVC, TPE or other extrudable elastomer we recommend one of our proved co-extruders. Furthermore the co-extruder is used for processing rigid-PVC to a grooved locking. We offer you 2 different types:

  • GCE type F: directly mounted on the calibration table and offers an ideal space-saving possibility to produce gaskets
  • GCE type T: mounted on a chassis

The control is over a control terminal via touch screen. Malfunctions and alarm messages are indicated via text. In addition the control offers a general overview of the current production status and a retracement of the last 40 production minutes of the set- and the actual value. You can memorise tooling specific settings to speed up the next start-up of the equal tooling.

Heating current monitoring of all heating zones for an early detection of a heating band break. Therefore a decrease of your waste is enabled.

The standard equipment includes 2 cylinder cooling zones.

 

Foam extruders

For optimal material combination.

The foam extruder made by Greiner Extrusion was developed for WPC profiles with inline foamed core. A technology solution combining the advantages of a solid decking profile and the benefits of a hollow profile.

Advantages of WPC profiles with physically foamed core compared to WPC solid decking profile:

  • Up to 50 % material savings by weight reduction
  • Up to 46 % material cost savings
  • Up to 32 % reduction of production costs
  • Improved dimensional tolerance
