The Greiner Energy Saving System.

The majority of energy in profile extrusion is used up by the vacuum pumps in the calibration table. By incorporating a demand actuated system to control individual vacuum pumps along with side-channel compressors for tank emptying, GESS.tronic reduces energy consumption by up to 90%. GESS.tronic can be retrofitted to existing plants, and it is a truly attractive option for every extrusion facility.

With FLOW.CONTROL you can improve your production ongoingly. Through control of the melt flow, individual profile sections are decelerated or accelerated selectively with cold or hot air. This results in constant profile dimensions and production near the lowest profile weight tolerance.

PROFILE.RAISER revolutionizes the start-up process

Automatic positioning and raising of the profiles in the haul-off.

With the PROFILE.RAISER, Greiner Extrusion Group presents a new system that automatically guides profiles to the correct entry position on the haul-off during start-up and at the same time closes a safety gap in the profile extrusion industry. The PROFILE.RAISER specifies the correct entry position of the profile and is designed in such a way that the profiles run into the haul-off at a correct angle all by themselves by means of a special locking system. As a result, the raising of the profiles in the haul-off takes place automatically during the start-up process and without safety concerns for the personnel involved. Greiner Extrusion Group has applied for a patent for this development.

GESS basic

The perfect retro fit kit.

The Greiner Extrusion Group has developed a simple, cost-effective energy-saving system for lines without PLC control (TEC.LINE and RED.LINE basic). GESS. basic is operated via a simple touchscreen. The vacuum pumps and cyclone pumps of the calibration table can be controlled in automatic mode via set-points. This means the desired vacuum values are no longer reached on opening of the bleed-air valves, but through controlled energy-saving regulation of the pumps.

Closed water circuit

Benefits around the cooling water.

Polluted cooling water through the use of th closed water circuit belongs to the past! The maintenance of the water system is significantly lower as contamination can not enter the cooling system. With cleaner water scratches can be reduced on the profiles. Use of the closed water circuit reduces cooling water consumption significantly, it also prevents unnecessary heat absorption of the cooling water and saves energy in water treatment. 

The closed water circulation can either be installed directly in new Greiner calibration tables or be retrofitted quickly and easily to existing calibration tables! Our experts will configure the necessary parts for you upon request.

Air support control

Providing ventilation of inner chambers.

The supporting air control makes ventilation of the inner chamber safe. The controlled air supply secures the geometry of the inner chambers, thus avoiding scrap.

Controller replacement
